Which courses does AMA Q-Ride offer?
It runs the Queensland Q-Ride pathway: the Pre-Learner course (minimum 12.5 hours), the RE restricted-licence course (minimum 7.75 hours) and the unrestricted R upgrade (minimum 3.5 hours). Q-Ride is competency-based, so the hours are minimums.
Do they provide the motorcycle?
Yes. AMA Q-Ride provides training bikes for every class, from an automatic scooter for auto learners up to manual machines such as the TGB Bullet 125, Honda CB125e, Honda VTR250 and Honda CB600F Hornet. You don't need your own motorcycle.
Is riding gear included?
Helmet, jacket and gloves can all be supplied for your training, or you can use your own if you prefer. Wear sturdy enclosed footwear.
